Michael Rubino is an air quality expert who helps bridge the gap between the air in our homes and its direct impact on our health. Rubino works with over 100 doctors globally to not only raise awareness but also provide solutions to correctly identify and remove the pollutants causing this global health crisis.
As President of HomeCleanse, Rubino specializes in working with people who are immunocompromised or have acute and sustained reactions to mold exposure and has helped heal over 1,000 families—including celebrities and athletes. He is also a council-certified Mold Remediator by IICRC and ACAC and is a contributing member, sponsor, and speaker for the Indoor Air Quality Association. Michael Pinto, of Wonder Makers Environmental in Kalamazoo, MI, has been a familiar face in the indoor environmental industry for decades, as a national consultant and trainer, presenting at conferences, and having served on boards and committees of numerous industry organizations. He recently authored a two-part article for Healthy Indoors Magazine's April 2022 and May 2022 editions titled,"A Comparison of AirAnswers Sampling to Spore Trap Samples for Mold Investigations." In it, he discussed a recent field study that looked at five homes using both conventional spore trap air sampling and Inspirotec's AirAnswers sampling/analysis technology.
Michael will be on this episode to discuss his recent study, and also talk about some of his experiences over his long career in the IAQ/IEQ space. He will be joined by AirAnswer's Rachel Reboulet to talk about the AirAnswers technology.

Marwa Zaatari is a Partner at D ZINE Partners based in Austin, Texas. Doctor Zaatari has a Ph.D. in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in the Architectural and Civil Engineering Department. She also has a MS in Projects and the Built Environment from the American University of Beirut, and a BE in HVAC, Energy and Controls for the Mechanical Engineering Department of the Lebanese University in Lebanon.
William Bahnfleth is a Professor of Architectural Engineering at Penn State University and a past Director of the Indoor Environment Center at Penn State. Doctor Bahnfleth has a Ph.D., MS and BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is also very active in a number of volunteer committees, including as the Chair of the ASHRAE Epidemic Task Force.

We are pleased to welcome Henry Slack as our guest this week! He has been a regularly-featured presenter at industry events for decades and he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience on a host of indoor environmental topics.
From 1991 to 2018, Henry Slack managed the Indoor Air Program for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Region 4, dealing with topics as diverse as mold, odors, ozone, carbon monoxide, air cleaners, green buildings, ventilation systems, tobacco smoke, and a guy who could see mold spores flying through the air and attack him. The EPA program is non-regulatory. He was a popular speaker on IAQ topics.
