The Indoor Environments Show welcomes guest Michelle Myers Twilley, DrPH, CIH, for a timely discussion on OEHS Science and Practice on this episode.
Michelle is the resident Certified Industrial Hygienist for AIHA. She serves as staff liaison for several technical committees, and manages four new strategic initiatives for the association: Defining the Science, Improving Exposure Judgments, Standard of Care and State of the Art vs State of the Practice. Each initiative is designed to improve the way we practice occupational, environmental, health and safety. The position requires skills drawn from the past thirty years of her professional practice and education.

With the wildfire season upon North America again, we welcome Brett Stinson to discuss this timely topic on this episode, along with a low cost air cleaner his team developed for at-home use during emergency situations.
Brett Stinson graduated from Portland State University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 2022. He is currently working on a MS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university. He is also a Research Assistant for the Healthy Buildings Research Laboratory, also associated with Portland State University. His recent research has included wildfires, indoor air quality in a middle school, and the development of a air-filtration device to be used in homes during wildfires.
